Tip #1: Start small and work your way up

One of the biggest mistakes beginners make is trying to do too much too soon. If you're just starting out .. it's important to start small and work your way up. Don't try to jump over the entire block on your first try. Instead .. start by ollieing onto the curb and then gradually work your way up to the top of the block.

Remember .. it's not about how high you can jump or how fast you can go. It's about control and finesse. So take your time .. and don't be afraid to start small.

Tip #2: Get creative with your tricks

One of the best things about skateboarding is that there are endless possibilities when it comes to tricks. Don't limit yourself to the same old tricks everyone else is doing. Get creative and come up with your own unique versions.

One of our favorite tricks to do on a parking block is a font board slide. It's a simple trick that is still so much fun .. and you can come off the block different ways at the same time. It's a great way to add some style and creativity to your block skating.

Tip #3: Practice, practice, practice

Last but not least .. the most important tip of all: practice, practice, practice. Skateboarding is all about muscle memory .. so the more you practice a trick .. the easier it will become.

Set aside some time each day to work on your parking block tricks. Start with the basics and then gradually work your way up to more advanced moves. Remember .. it's not about how quickly you can learn a trick. It's about putting in the time and effort to master it.
